Christmas Thoughts For You

 

 

 

Christmas is rapidly approaching once again,

The holiday season we happily begin;

Oh sure, all the stores have been at it quite awhile,

But now we can all break-out our holiday smile.

 

As this season we start and my blessings I count,

I’m amazed over the years how they grow and mount;

Not material things, they don’t matter that much,

But all the blessings of love that my heart does touch.

 

Parents, grand-parents, uncles, aunts and many more,

Family and friends I’ve known from way back before;

The love they have shown I still happily cherish,

Even when they pass-on, that love doesn’t perish.

 

Children, grand-children, nephews, nieces come along,

More family and friends together we belong;

The love with all of them I’m fortunate to share,

These are the true blessing of immense love and care.

 

Whether or not you’ve been just as equally blessed,

And a heritage of love you’ve also possessed;

These blessings at Christmas come celebrating through,

And I would like to share some Christmas Thoughts for you.

 

Christmas is as special or not as we make it,

Life is as meaningful or not as we take it;

Happiness winds up coming from choices we make,

When, win or lose, reactions we decide to take.

 

I hope that this Christmas you do choose to enjoy,

That the holiday spirit you pick to employ,

That in the merriment of the season is found

Much of all the blessings that so greatly abound.

 

For this holiday I hope loved ones are more near,

I hope that your time with them is all more dear,

I hope happiness does bountifully come true,
