A very Happy Mother’s Day to you, my Dear,

And for May 11, which is also quite near;

For that’s the date when everything did begin,

And what a wonderful life since than it has been.

 

Many, many memories we already share,

From the dating and early married days back there,

To parenting and grandparenting, as well,

Full of great stories we could and sometimes do tell.

 

I remember those times very fondly for sure,

And sometimes I think they would be great to recur;

But I’m happy with this age and place we are at,

And I’m blessed that you are the great part of all that.

 

I am truly grateful you are the special one,

With whom I share each day, whether quiet or fun.

I’m happy with the family we did create,

For your love and effort in them does radiate.

 

Your own gift once again you already did buy,

That you are happy with it is enough for I;

For the purpose is to make sure you are aware,

How much I really love you, how deeply I care.
