Passion Poetry – Our Love

The years come along and they roll on by,

Together in love we stay, you and I;

This love we share still as fresh and as new,

As that day when I first laid eyes on you.

This smile on my face I still can’t control,

When into my gaze I see that you stroll.

Hardly anything do I want as much,

As the tender warmth of your gentle touch.

My skin grows warm where your hand you may rest,

The breath of your life flows from breast to chest:

My face caressed by your silky, soft hair,

That smile greets me that you most often wear.

Your lips are moist as against mine they press,

Your love for me they softly do confess;

That love to me you continue to give,

Year after year, blessing this life we live.

Twenty-five? Eighty-five? It matters not,

Because both memories and dreams we’ve got;

Memories of years of love that have past,

Dreams that forever this love will still last.
