 Sleep softly, sweet, gentle spirit,

Enjoy your ever so well deserved rest;

We who remain in your honor,

Rejoice that you are now so justly blessed.

 

The love you generously shared,

An inspiration for us all to aim;

Now even greater glorified,

Indeed justifiably yours to claim.

 

Dream happily, dear, good spirit,

A wonderful life is yours to recall;

And those of us that you have touched,

Know how much you have blessed us, one and all.

 

Easy to believe an angel,

Without judging you helped others to be,

The best person they ever could,

Guiding, but always letting them be free.

 

Soar mightily, bright, free spirit,

Now freed from the world that held you captive,

Humbled by life’s age old shackles,

Freedom you now gloriously receive.

 

Enjoy love’s fantastic splendor,

You have vested it in great abundance;

And now Love in all it’s glory,

Is also further blessed by your presence.

 

Whisper softly, oh sweet spirit,

These aching hearts do often gently touch,

Please console and even comfort,

For they’ll always love you ever so much.
