Happy Valentine’s Day

 

 

There is a little blue vase with a yellow rose,

And while pretty, their significance no one knows.

They represent a promise I made in the past,

That forever and always I’d make our love last.

 

They remind me so I’ll never ever forget,

To always be aware on what your heart is set;

Whatever’s in your dreams, whatever is your desire,

These are the things for which I also will aspire.

 

The blue vase and yellow rose, just by their presence,

Keep our hearts focused on the love it represents;

A love that is as full and as warm and as sweet,

As that time they graced our reserved table and seat.

 

So once again, on this special Valentine’s Day,

And my love for you, I so humbly try to say,

I hope you know these words are the voice of my heart,

And I’m glad for this life of which you are a part.
