What good marriage advice could I possibly give,

To help you in the life together you will live?

What words of wisdom in these short lines could I say,

To help keep a life-time the Love you feel today?

Always give each other the “benefit of doubt;”

Don’t ever let the warmth of your passion wear out;

Be each other’s “best friend,” in each other confide,

Holiday gifts are the only things you should hide.

Live hearty, laugh often, whatever comes along,

Rejoice that together, both of you do belong;

Let the other one be your first and greatest care,

And cherish intensely, this great love that you share.

May your life you now share be filled with joy and love,

May you always be blessed by the Good Lord above.
